Thinking for the customer
Work is fine but it continues to be very frustrating to get through to servicing to make a booking.
As per question 1
Everything completed as expected and the bill was fair.
It was easy to book. When I arrived I was made very welcome and the facilities allowed me to work from the BMW site and be comfortable until my car was ready.
Very good service. The only issue for me is having to wait whilst the car is being serviced. The showroom is a fair distance from anything. A courtesy car would be going the extra mile instead of having to wait.
modern cars have so much technology these days that, in my opinion, each car should be configured for the customer at collection rather than pointed towards the website and told the DIY
I've had my car serviced at Tring a few times and had the car returned to me with a nail or screw in the tyre (on the day of service) once and this time the fan/blower which worked perfectly well prior to the service, did not work when returned.

Having a video showing the problem with the i drive system, it was not possible to share with the dealer as their IT system was not capable of, or allowed to download the file.
Met my expectations and communicated well. Its a shame their Stevenage branch couldn't do the same earlier in the year. I still haven't had a response to an email and telephone call since April
Having booked an mot for 12.30 I was initially told the car would not be ready until 4.30. When I said this was an unacceptable wait it was done straight away as it should have been
One slight hitch was that when I got into the car to drive home I got a menage that the tyre pressures were a little low. This should have been dealt with before the car was handed back
Very quick - called when the car was ready as requested. Would have given 5 stars but dropping off the car was a bit clunky - also the boot of the car was not vacuumed
Despite the service being notified that I had a problem with a squeal from the rear brakes when I booked the car in and it being on the worksheet the technician assumed that replacing the front pad and discs would cure the problem. It did not.
they did the job I asked for and did not overcharge. The estimated time was high but I was warned it may well be quicker which it was so I saved money!
Good attention to booking of service, and this appears to have been properly completed. Collection from home works well

Again great service The only reason hasn't been rated 4 stars is because of your insurance policy on loan cars I have a conviction from two years ago which meant i could not get a loan car from bmw as their insurance would not cover it.
Easy service no issues
I explained the problem (second visit) and was charged for a full diagnostic test when the fuel flap opening problem turned out to be a known BMW issue for hybrids.

I was given some incorrect information by one of your advisors about the validity of my service pack. This caused me unnecessary stress and worry until I had the position clarified by one of his colleagues.
very stressful and felt like we were being deceived some thing i would not expect when your spending that sort of money seems to be more about figures than the customer ?
Service and mot satisfactory but I had asked for tyre pressures to be checked.2 days later the warning sign appeared re low tyre pressure! No help re loan car - a manual and different model to my car
I've marked this down because over the course of 2 visits the problem that the car went in for has not been resolved. It is still to be resolved with (yet) another visit to the service dept. Various parts have been replaced, but the issue remains.
I complained about the car shaking after starting when cold. This has happened on a number of occasions. I asked for this to be looked into but it doesn't appear to have been done. The car still shakes sometimes when cold

My system had not been set properly, so after the service my car was still saying service required in August 2019. I noticed this on departure so I had to run back into the showroom to show my service rep who then in turn asked a technician to remedy

Satisfied with the speed of service and communication on the day. However, have not had a response to a subsequent email regarding the availability of a replacement track rod that was highlighted as a service requirement.
The service was just for the brake fluid change however due to small minor misunderstanding the engineers performed a full service which made me (customer wait one and half hours) They did not charged for the extra labour and or filters changed

Gave me a full briefing of what to expect, with 3 timescales according to severity of new part(s) required. Also, the help received by their service rep. ( James Watt) was exemplary.
Car washing has gone downhill
The MOT and valet took a bit more thanh the 90 minutes which caused some of the other activities of the day to back up.
Dealership forgot to update on-board computer on day of service and MOT. Had to return for this to be done a week later. Did not check this myself at the time.
Shocking customer service, the team has no notion that their behaviour represents the BMW brand to the customer. First impressions really do count, my Tring experience was appalling (yet again!); argumentative staff with bad attitudes aplenty!!
After initially buying the vehicle noticed windscreen damage in line with drivers eyesight,ended up having to replace with my own insurance.recent probs with steering has now been resolved.probs with auto tailgate not resolved,but still been charged
The door to door service was excellent and made the service of my car very convenient
Unable to fix the issue, again. Staff all polite and friendly, work carried out under warranty with no arguments but at the end of the day, the issue still hasn't been resolved.
Know and trust the team there so its easy to do business

See above. I had asked to be informed of what needed to be done as I needed the car the following day. As 6 in the evening I was told it would not be available due to their inability to download new software. No courtesy car was available.
Car was not ready after service on the time agreed then post service calls were not returned when promised until Megan ( Service ) became involved. DISSAPOINTED........
Our salesperson Jeffrey was very professional and knowledgable and anything he couldn't answer, he went out of his way to find out. He kept us informed of progress at all times with phone calls and videos. Being new to the sales team he was excellent

Excellent quick non-fussy service

The only issue was to do with the fitting of a cat 6 Tracker which my insurance company insisted upon. My first issue was why these items not fitted as standard as virtually every insurance company in the uk wants them. my 2nd the actual fitting.
Still waiting for delivery of my car because the insurance company needed a specific type of tracker fitted, and the garage did not have it in stock. its been over a week now since I made payment for the car and I still don't have it.
